My Pictures: an update

Ever since Litho tuned me into getting a big-ass my pictures folder, it's been growing and growing.



And not one .bmp in sight.

Those pics have followed me through numerous formats as well, copy/pasting the entire folder to another hard drive when I had to.

LOL cats, digital photos, game screenshots, and lots and lots of random internet pics.

No pr0n though. Keep that in a seperate folder so I don't skew this.

768MB also not including any pr0n. or scanlated manga (now that folder is frightenning - i really need to clean the cappier stuff out of that folder). i should really go delete most of those images. all they do is sit there and take up space.

i also love how the 'size on disc' is bigger than 'size'. great compression there windows.

My My Pictures file is 1.64gb, no porn or bitmaps and hardly any pics that are just random.  A decent amount of background images but they take up less than 10mb  =p

i think i have just come to one of those universal truthes: backing up a stupidly large pictures folder is not fun =\

As a backup, I have to use one and a half DVDs... o_O
How the hell...

I'll need to get to the bottom of this!!
